A Day In LA

I travel to Los Angeles and San Diego several times a year and have found some really cool places to visit during my stay. So, if you find yourself in the Los Angeles area this year and you're looking for something to do I have a few suggestions;
farmers market
Los Angeles Farmers Market- Located in Beverly Hills on the corner of Fairfax and 3rd, this is a must-do. Bring your appetite for inexpensive delectable treats from local growers, and experience prepared meals from around the world.

Venice Inn- In my previous post I wrote about the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. If the Viceroy is not in the budget check out the Venice Inn which is in Venice Beach, CA, the next town over from Santa Monica. This quaint little hotel is VERY clean and affordable, and it's 2 blocks from the beach.

Guacamole and Chips

Coyote Cafe- Old Town, San Diego. NEVER have I had Mexican food this good. Cute older ladies making soft shell tacos the old fashioned way, your olfactory senses will pickup the aromas of finely tuned spices as you drive down the street. Just go!!!

Immaculate Conception Church- Old Town, San Diego. After you leave the Coyote Cafe, you may want to give thanks for a wonderful day. Whether you're a Catholic, a Pentecostal or just spiritual, you will feel the prescence of a being greater than yourself, which I know as God. If you do not believe, check it out for the architecture, and maybe you'll get a bonus blessing!
