Photographing the House Of Speakeasy event

I was honored to photograph this event for House Of Speakeasy at the beautiful City Winery in New York City. This literary group of really smart people entertained the crowd with life stories as well as comedic excerpts form their writings.
The speakers included cartoon editor Bob Mankoff, comedian/writer Elliot Kalan, writer/musician Christopher Mason, poet Jeffrey McDaniel, novelist Adam Rapp, novelist Debora Spar and author Emma Straub.

Sonia Sotomayor - Supreme Court Justice

The New York Women's Bar Association presented an award to the Hon. Justice Sonia Sotomayor at The Marriott Hotel in New York City.
I had a chance to meet her and take a photo with her, get this, at her request!

   

Partnership At DrugFree Awards Dinner

I was fortunate to photograph The Partnership At Drug Free awards dinner at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria in New York City. In attendance were CBS correspondence Scott Pelley,  Actress Melissa Gilbert, and HBO documentary producer Sheila Nevins.
